Join Wind Wolves Preserve staff and guest activity leaders for a weekend filled with nature-inspired activities and preserve tours!

Saturday and Sunday, March 28th and 29th, 2015

Join Wind Wolves Preserve staff and guest experts and nature-enthusiasts in a variety of activities including guided hikes, wildlife and wildflower viewing, preserve tours, more! Activities are ongoing from 8 am to 9 pm Saturday, and from 8 am to 7:30 pm Sunday. A complete list of available activities can be found below. Advance registration is required for these activities and can be completed online or by calling the Preserve.

Booth exhibits will be open at the administration building patio from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm both Saturday and Sunday.  Exhibits will include Reptile & Amphibians with live animals, Skull Discovery, Kern Audubon Society: owl pellet dissection, Friends of the California Condor, Institute for Wildlife Studies lead bullet awareness, Animal face painting, Kern Astronomical Society meteorite discovery, California Department of Fish and Wildlife Be Bear Aware, Backcountry Horseman Kern Sierra Chapter, Kern Healing Connections, Nature Crafts & Scavenger Hunts.  We will also have restoration stations where you can participate as a volunteer land steward by watering and planting native plants and pulling invasive plants.  Exhibits & restoration stations do NOT require pre-registration.

Entrance to the Preserve and all activities are offered FREE OF CHARGE!
