The community is invited to a free screening of StrikeOut, a docudrama about the harsh discipline practices in Kern schools, that have pushed out students out of school.

The event will be March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Maya Theatre, 1000 California Ave,. in Bakersfield.

The event is being organized by the Kern Education Justice Collaborative, the Dolores Huerta Foundation and Cal State Bakersfield’s Center for Social Justice.
